so it's been a month....

since I update last. Exactly a month, btw. 
And to say the least, i've been busy. with school work, classes , my practicum at ETHS, NCE, NUMB, work, and just general resting hanging time, this blog was definitely pushed to back of thing on my list of to do.

not to mention my laptop charger almost caught on fire, like seriously dude i was scared I was gonna burn the dorm down. anyhoo I was too lazy/cheap to buy a new one, until I got one for like 4 bucks (7 total) off that good Amazon dot com. so let's just say we back in business, for a least some time.

it's also sad to think that my last Fall quarter at Northwestern is coming to an end. by all means, I'm excited, but parting is such sweet sorrow (SHAKESPEARE!) but I realized it's also a great jubilee. Like from this quarter I've realized one thing: College is stupid. Like I hate it. I hate having to worry about these stupid assignments, when in real life I won't have to write paper or anything. I'll have to write lessons, which I also hate.....uhhhh i don't know anymore.....

I  mean, I just want to figure out what I'm doing with my life, and by that where I'm going to teach when I graduate, when I figure out that I'll be so much happier about life, and it'll give me a goal. Because without goals, life is like a box of chocolates like drifting on the ocean on a piece of ice, eventually that ice will melt and you will sink and die because you can swim. so yeah.

In other news. I'm getting old, Officially. On monday I'll be 22, which makes feel real old, I don't know why. I guess this is point where I become an adult. and I guess it's kinda is true. I mean I'm bout to start real life. I got my license, I got a car! (yeah that's news I got a car over thanksgiving break. 2001 Honda Civic, Green, Two Door. Amazing.) I mean I don't want to grow up, but I think it'll be kinda fun/interesting to be completely independent and stuff.

I don't know what else to talk about.

Band Banquet this Saturday, I get to say goodbye to a great (but crazy) organization. I'm really happy to be done with Band, specifically this quarter it was just another thing on my long list of craptastic-ness. I'm just glad I did it all four years. Even through all the struggles, and the times I didn't want to be there, I really enjoyed being apart of NUMB. I'll miss it. But at least after the Bowl game, I won't have to wear that uniform ever, ever again.

Also, something I learned in the past month:  Teaching is mad hard yo. Like for reals,  I seriously I think it's one of the hardest profession in the world. There's so much to go into to teach high school students, to motivate them. I think besides teaching students math, I really just want to inspire, and just make learning/thinking something kool to do. But hopefully I can do a whole nother post, sometime in the future, more dedicated to my thoughts teaching, because seriously it's gonna become my life real soon. And the world should know how I feel.

um that's really all I have to say now. I might do a youtube mania or something random. Idk depends on how I feel.

no but, really. I really hate school at this moment. more so then ever. it just rack my nerves. and pain in my butt (hahaha reference). it's like those wisdom teeth growin in the back of my mouth. urgh. some days u forget they even there, but then it be that one day of tremendous pain. Today  This week is one of the those days. like seriously, i just want to go hibernate under a rock like Patrick Star, while my clone, 'Andre', does all the work.and then at the end of the quarter, i got all A's miraculous (Hallelujah!!) , and the world is all good and stuff.

But unfortnately, i must endure another month, or pure pain, stress, and lame didgeridoos that is the world of academia. Jeez. Laweez.

Some Good News
My Birthday is like 34 days away. I'mma be 22. Damn I'm old. Well.......i guess not really, I just feel that way.
I don't know what I'm gon do, i mean  my birthday is on Monday of finals week. But I do want to party hardcore sometime around it. ya know how I get down.! Well...maybe you don't but that's alright I forgive you anywayz.

Also, I voted today. Even though I didn't really want to. Hope my ancestors are proud of me!

It's December 1st!!!!

Which means my BIRTHDAY is in 5 DAYS!!! 
so excited!!!!
I can say this is probably gonna be one of the few times where I will feel my age.
Like I feel older already, like I can see the changes physically, mentally about who I am, who I THINK I am.
It's very interesting (and weird..............................yeha)

Enough about my BIRTHDAY (did I happen to mention that it's in 5 days?!),
but today also means it's been about a year since I started this blog. (whoa, right?!)

I'll have a year-celebration post coming up soon, probably when I get away from E-town for Christmas break.

I can't believe I kept up with this though. I think at first, I started the blog to just entertain myself, which I still do, it's just away for me to record my thoughts on things, ya know.

It's kool when people are like yeah "Youe blog is awesome" and "I saw that on your blog". but it's also
weird cuz I'm always like "oh, yeha, my blog" like I totally forget that other people read this sometimes.

I kinda don't care if other people don't really read it/this (but I actually DO), but it's all good in the hood or something like that....

I honor of my proximal 21-ness, I decided to watch this film entitled 21.


okay so like the first 30 mins of this movie was really weird. it reminded me too much of college life, like including the math and everything (yeha that was really descriptive). Overall though, this move was pretty kool. I give it a 7/8 outta 10. But then I looked it up on wikipedia (a random habit of mine after watching a new movie) and people totally hated it. It was a good film kept me interesting for about 2 hours, that's pretty hard to do, most of the time.

Also this thanksgiving break, I watched way more sports (there was nothing else on)
like at any sports game, I stopped and watch it for at least a minute.
I watched 2 NU football games (repeats of our wins against Illinois & Wisconsin). Couple of NFL and NBA games. 1 NU women's basketball (did you kno we were 4-0, until that game? also we beat #10 DePaul, when did they get good?). 2 NU Men's basketball (against Norte Dame & Iowa State, both which we won, making us champions in the chicago inviatation challenge thingy, awesome!).

why is this relevant?

Because this is coming from a guy, who has a kid, I distinctly remember this, I believed that all sports were stupid, all you did was kick that ball around back and forth (I think this was because I didn't play any sports). and to imagine myself about 10/11 years later watching basketball and football like all thanksgiving weekend pretty much just weird/impossible.

But I think this entrance into the "sports world", comes from my love of NU football, which all comes from NUMB, interesting how one decision to be in the marching band changed my life completely, although I'm sure any other decision in college would have been just has life changing.

Bowl Bounded 'CATS!

so if ya don't know (which means you musta been living under a rock with Patrick Star <= he's a pink star, craziness!)
'CATS WIN!!!! 33-31 against #16 Wisconsin. The Wildcats have defeated another ranked team.
The 'CATS are now 8-4 and are heading to a good bowl: which means warm.
I'm excited! Bowl Trip should be awesome wherever we're going.
Also the game was the last of the regular season, and what a great finish!
WHEW!

but um other than that, 3 days before thanksgiving break, which means I get to home back to the kank, for a few days at least. get to see my family, and get to eat a whole bunch: this should be pretty fun. I hoping to get relaxed enough to come back a finish these last couple of weeks of the quarter STRONG, then celebrate my 21st BDAY! WHEW!!!!!!!! LESS THAN TWO WEEKS!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

but um yeah that's about it.
i'm just living........

I feel like it was just September (well it was...kinda). this quarter gonna be over soon AND I'm gonna be 21 really soon 35 days (COMMENCE COUNTDOWN!)............

yeha dude I'm gonna be so freaking old, but that alright, it's life.

sooo the 'CATS lost to Penn State :-(. I mean everyone kinda expected it, but I was praying for an upset. We were getting there in the first half, then Kafka randomly left the game (apparently from a hamstring injury thingy) and he didnt return to the game, leaving Persa, the second-string quarterback, to try to keep the momentum going. FAIL. but that's alright. We still got another chance for an uspet against Iowa next week, who is currently 9-0, and us beating them would be major awesomeness.

not much else is going on. I'm trying to coordinate/do this NCE publicity, it's like all I've been really thinking about. and I have a midterm on tuesday, that I'm not studying for right now........
but everything's gonna be alright.......

sometimes ya gotta just keep telling yourself that , even if it won't, you gotta believe that, or your gonna be stressed about crazy stuff. there's no need to worry, like seriously things work out. not always like ya think, but they will. yeha i kno right i'm SO FREAKING deep..........
