Here's some videos, all strangley involving music, some good, some bad. Enjoy!
1. Shardinay - Oh Boy - Music Video
I had this one under my favorties for awhile, but ya know I've been busy lately (translation: i ain't been doing nothing). Anywayz this is one of those BAD ones. This one just starts off bad and gets no better. And she's the "UK female singing sensation". Sensation, yeah, I get this terrible sensation in my ears.
2. Bad Crack
From the title, I first thought this had to do with the lethal white stuff, but then you see the snapshot of a choir singing and I was like whaa. But once you hear it all make sense. I admit I've watched this about 5 times, and everytime I laughed, and cried. It's so horrible. What makes it so bad is she continues to sing. no! No! NO! NO!. I'm gonna come back to video though when I'm feeling blue and just laugh, laugh laugh (cuz you know he who laugh last, laugh last, laugh first, laugh last).
3. Jazmine Sullivan - Holding you down (going in circles)
This is one of the GOOD. Jazmnine's new single off her upcoming album, which I'll probably buy, cuz I loved the first one. I like the homage in the beginning to Mary J. Blige, cuz people say she sounds like her, I always hear Kim Burrell though, so I don't know about that. But it's catchy definitely.
4. OMG Rude Boy (Cover)
I loved this cover! The way the two songs were mixed was bomb, I kinda forgot it was two different songs. But I love it when white people sound like black people, and can do all the vocal acrobatics, and have the soul. It's amazing to hear! Though, I can do without the guy cuz the girls kill it! I like the blonde's voice more than the brunette though. It has like a little twang to it, but still soulful.
That's all.

Instead of Studying for my midterm
I've found it a must-updation about this music jewel (it's my precious) I found.............
I may straight listen to this chick for 2 weeks. She's sick, in many ways unimaginable.....
don't know who I'm talking about?
I'm talking about Ledisi

If you like neo soul or R&B seriously you should love her. She's definitely alot more jazzy, but she's
one of the few people whose every song I'm just like AMAZING. Please just go to imeem and type in Ledisi, and hit play or something......
Like usually when I'm studying, which I was, I try to play Neo-Soul music, it calms me down when I thinking about all this crazy numbers stuff, but this woman does some crazy things with her voice: the harmonies, the rythm, i mean her scatting, her expressitivity (??) craz,. That i just couldn't concentrate on my studies w/o being like "wait that lick/run was so sick!"
Like I heard of her before, but I never really looked into any of her music, really mad I hadn't earlier.
Like seriously she is a music jewel that has just been added to my favorite music list and will be continually on repeat for Lord knows how long.
Yeah just wanted to share this with you, cuz I can!

Normal Random-alities
Hello All!
song of the day: "I Found My Smile Again" by D'Angelo. Love this song. I heard he's making a comeback (like everybody is).
I remember when I first heard this song. It was one of the only songs that I can listen to over and over (that's a pet peeve of mine).

BB Updation
Okay, craziness! and when I say craziness I MEAN CRAZINESS!! remember when I said someone was going to get "expelled" from the BB house based on "self-destruction"?. Guess who it was? CHIMA (the black girl). The reason for her expulsion was that she threw the microphone pack into the pool, which means she damaged production equipment, which apparently she could not do. And from what they showed on the episode she had been very rebellious to the BB producers the whole time of her stay. Like she was really stupid, she ackin very DIVA like.
As a result of Chima's expulsion, Michelle's reign as HOH was over. So they had an HOH comp instead of a POV comp (See Chima had the oppurtunity to fight back but she didn't). Jordan ended up winning HOH. She put up Lydia & Natalie. Jordan wants Lydia to go and this is why...
Lydia= Craziness! I feel like I've made this comparison before. So Lydia totally just went off (I think she was actually drunk) on Jordan called her a "puppet-ho". And she just went ballistic. It was just really funny.
idk what's gonna happen. But there's still going on with the double-eviction. which means only 5 people will be in the house at the end of Thursday episode. which means the game will be over in about 4 weeks.

Freedom, finally

Mi hermano (& the whole district #111) started school today. which means I had the whole house to myself: which meant choas ensued. And by that I mean, I just laid in the bed and watched TV all day. It was amazing not having to worry about another person (especially a little brother)!
I'm Singing "FREEDOM!!!" (which reminds me of this movie called Bebe Kids, where they sing this song, it's totally how I feel).
check the vid,

Ramblings...
so um....what up, den tho? (idk)
i'm not sure what I wanna update about so it'll probably be a spewing of things...
Wait, I watched X-Men, for the first time last night...
(this poster is kinda hot......anywayz)
that movie was awesome! can i say that???!....(yes i can this is my blog)
but um yeah...is there sequels to this? it has to be (yes i checked dummy there is sequel, gosh!)... anyway it was kinda amazing...
speaking of movies....i also watched this movie called Gattaca,
takes place in the future...
where people basically get to pick the genes of their kids....so it brought the idea of geonism, (racism of the genes, i mean i kno that's not right but whatev..) i think it was called...and i was just like that would be crazy...like talk about being discriminated for who you are...like damn! they'd be like 'yo genes aint no good, you can't have this job' ...crazy thought right?
i enjoyed it, tho.
Rahsaan Patterson....sounds like Chaka Khan(that's a statement and a fact, no opinon), that's all i have to say (well not really)...he's like a neo-soul artist (people i like more and more the more i listen to their music) but ummm dude is kinda kool...I can't remember the exact song but he sounds just like Chaka Khan and I'm like, that's crazy..(well it aint that crazy)
Speaking of music, i guess, though not the same genre...James Fortune's I'll Trust You, is really good...love that song...like the chords and just the sound, maybe the tone, are like weirdly good. anywayz it is the "Most Played Gospel Song" (whatever that means), i guess they mean the fact that its been on the charts for like a long time more than 50 weeks i believe idk actually..but really good song
yeha okay this was music and movie post whatev...
check out the links..if you want..cuz i dont really care actually..
aight peace..& chicken grease!!

Music Rambles
I'm a big fan of music: I love to sing, play the trumpet, I'm constantly creating random songs....
FAV music: R&B, Gospel, some Hip-Hop, Pop, rock, up to giving every song a chance.....
So I've been checking this out, if you don't know about this, you should
imeem.com, free playlists of new album, which I like, and other random songs...pretty kool overall for music...
Keyshia Cole, of BET-fame "They Way It Is" (You should check this show out, some real family drama, which is my life) Anywayz she has come out with a new album called "A Different Me".

She's definitely different than the Keyshia Cole of her first two album: not that much passion in the voice for me. The songs, which you can check out at imeem.com, sound too much alike. The only really r&b-sounding track, besides "Playa Cardz Right" ft. Tupac, is a track with fellow r&b songtress Monica, "Trust". Check it out here
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lauryn Hill, one of my favorite Neo-Soul (probably the definition of Neo-Soul) artist ever!. Currently fell back in love with her, thanks to imeem. If you listen to some of her stuff from her
Unplugged albums, this woman he's amazing. The messages of her songs are too deep, still can't figure it out. Just amazing. I believe she's working on stuff, hopefully she can get an album out soon..Please!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bryon Cage, a gospel artist, who I think goes uncredited and unrecognized, his songs are
amazi
ng...check him out on imeem as well (I told you that's the stuff)...anywayz very prasing, worship songs. Melodies and Harmonies amazing. Cage is also dramatic sometimes, but it helps create wonderful worship music. Hopefully I'll see him in concert before I die...hahahaha
