well not really, i guess it's more because voicing my opinion about random things don't really appease me anymore as much as they used to.....or is it because I really have nothing interesting to talk about in my life......or is it because I do I have stuff I want to share, but I don't want to share??.......

whatever the reason, the number of my updations are going down in comparison to a year from now (for instance, this is the second one for the month of september)
and since skool starts in 2 days, there's not telling whats gonna happen with this here blog...

but speaking of school,
classes start on Tuesday, but I just realized I won't actually have class until Wednesday  : ) . But on Tuesday I'll be going to ETHS to start my observation, so basically I'll be in class, just not a college one. I'm really looking forward to it. I don't really know what to expect, I mean I have some clue, but what will the students be like? How will my mentor teacher's style differ from my ever-developing style? How will this change my life and my career? Will it even be interesting or will I be bored outta my mind sitting in a high school class?? Idk.  but we'll see....

Randoms again.

Hey done with final and such (actually been done since Monday night, just been hanging around for a couple days to chill with the amigos)
But now I'm headed back to Kankakee, K3, the Keys, the Kank (hahaha) for winter break
(Deuces to E-town).
It'll be nice to be around fam and such for more than 3/4 days(stupid thanksgiving break),
I'll get to celebrate Birthdays( my brother's) and Christmas
so it should be fun.

Hopefully I'll be able to get in some much needed shopping (for myself, I don't really buy Christmas presents, cuz then you have to get everyone one).
And hopefully I'll get in some much needed relaxation, and tv watching, movie watching, and general just not worrying about school. There's some plan to hang out with High School Peeps, which should be interesting because I haven't seen anyone in forever.

Winter

Speaking of snowman, and coldness and stuff. What is going on with the weather, g-fizzle?
Ever since the night of my Birthday (I'm telling that day is really special) it's like God flipped on the winter season switch. Like I woke up the day after my birthday and there was snow on the ground and i was "wait what?, there's snow on the ground" (yeha) and ever since it's been that crazy snowy, windy, rainy, icy, down-right unbearable winter in Evanston that we all look forward to every Winter quarter.

Ahhh, this rant reminds of a post I post right when I was starting off basically me talking to snow.
I'll probably re-post that. cuz it'll be just as relevant in about a week or tomorrow.

I actually have nothing to update about, well I guess I kinda do, yeha I totally lied.....

so yesterday, the juniors of the secondary ed program here @ NU, met with the placement people: the MARY's ( and they looked exactly like this  jk)...They told us about the process of being placed for our student teaching. And as I am about most things, I don't care where I get placed, I just want to be somewhere, teaching.

But basically they were saying it's gonna be a long process. And we have to present a packet, and I have to write an essay about why I want to teach. And I'm not so sure why I do, i mean, I like math, and I think I like teaching (yeah it's gonna be a great essay). It's just letting me know that after graduating I'm going right to work, which is not gonna be fun, at first, but I'll know I'll get used to it....

wow that was a lot yet I still managed not to say much.......

oh, the marching/football season is almost OVER! Yes! (and No!). Truthfully, I'll be really happy when marching band is over, then I'll have time to do stuff. Meaning I'll have time to do absolutely nothing. But then football's gonna be over, which I kinda hate, it's SO bittersweet (which is an actually plant/tree thingy,  I didn't know that till I just googled it). But I'll get over it. It'll be exciting to be a "normal" student come winter quarter.

I think that's enough updating of sorts.......
I'll holla at cha later,

then will both be two freaking hollering fools,
and then people'll put us in a crazy house,
and then we'll devise a plan to escape,
and we totally get out for a day or two,

I Know You're Wondering..

DUDE!
how did your weekend go?
well here's the scoop, the short version, cuz I'm trying to go to sleep REALLY soon...

John Legend concert,
was amazing! Dude can actually sing, well I knew that...., it was a really great concert.
It was all worth it in the end, "running" to my dorm in 12 mins (a new record I tell ya),
changing clothes quickly, waiting at the arch for 30 mins for a bus, all worth it.

'CATS WIN! We are now 4-2 as we go face Michigan State this weekend. It's an away game, which means another two weeks without a football game : (. Which I have to admit (and I don't mind doing so) was very fun. I really enjoyed myself, I hadn't laughed so much in a long time. yeha....

It was actually a pretty good weekend...
but when I wake up tomorrow it's gonna be monday (even though it's already Monday).
God knows how much I hate mondays!

Less than 1 month

and I'll be back on the grounds of Northwestern. I'm excited to go back to see my friends & such, but definitely not classes (thank God their not like till two weeks after).

I'll be heading back to the E (it's so cold ) for marching band camp. truthfully not looking forward to camp, but once again it'll be nice to see people.

I'm in no hurry to get back, so till then I'm gonna enjoy my 25 days of no worries

BB Updation

ummmm let's see what happened. Russell's HOH. oh, Michelle won POV. Kept the nominees the same. Jessie, ol' girl (Natalie), and Chima tried to get Russell to take Ronnie off. But Russell wasn't having it. They tried to work on Michelle too, cuz apparently she's the deciding vote. But that didn't work. so Ronnie & Lydia are still on the chopping block. My guess: Ronnie's going home, will make me kinda happy :-).

oh, there's like this message board thing with people putting some of the houseguests' heads on stuff it's quite hilarious....let me find a funny picture of Ronnie to share.....

Baritone


(basically looked like this, but silver, its so nice)

I played one today. How you ask? Well it has to do with a lot of things. Well actually just one thing. My dad's sister (not my auntie) moved from K3 back to Chicago (apparently she's after some dude that don't want her, but that's Drama I don't really care about). Chica has like 7 kids, maybe more than that. And her oldest son, played the baritone in the band. They moved out already...making a long story...the baritone has to go back to the school...so it's at our house.

Anywayz playing the baritone, made me realized I haven't played my trumpet since I've been home. and makes me think I should before band camp. I though seriously have no inkling to , and I really don't care at this moment.

I think I'm going to play the Baritone again tomorrow. This also reminds me that I never switched over to French Horn like I wanted to Senior Year. But it's over and done and I'm stuck with the Trumpet.

Weeds

So today I was going to cut the grass (right cuz me and my dad have this deal. Like I cut the front yard, and he cuts the back). But there was no gas in lawn mower. so I was like I'm going to take these flowers out the pot in front of our house, cuz they had all died, I was gonna do this anywayz cuz I was already outside.

Now I didn't really wanna go back inside so I decided to take out the weeds arounds the flowers in the ground outside our house (there were like three talls ones). and as I was doing this I realized there were alot weeds around these flowers in the ground, like tons.

As I was pulling all the weeds. I started feeling bad for the poor flowers. Like dude their just trying to grow. But there is so many weeds. and they had no one to save them. Like if I hadn't done that the weeds will still be there.

And I just started thanking God for salvation. Like we have so many weeds (bad things that just hinder us from growing). and God wants to do what I did for those plants. just take them all away. We have so many weeds in our life. I mean there's like evil lurking everywhere. You gotta get rid of them weeds. If you don't you'll be like those weeds in the pots...you'll die.

Thank You God for that revelation.

BB Updation

Didn't see the episode live on Sunday because of church, but saw it later that night. Here's basically what happened:

Russell became HOH (As i said before) by making a promise to Jeff ( because they were the last two people hanging on the thingy, usually what happens) to keep him & Jordan safe, and also to put up Ronnie as one of the nominees.
They also discussed later possibly getting together, which I like, it would be nice to see Jeff come back, and with Russell I think he has a good shot at winning.

But anywayz Russell has proven to be a man of his word, I mean he voted for Casey to stay, & he kept his promise to Jeff (this does not happen often in this game). Russell put up Ronnie & Lydia, totally for Ronnie to go home. I don't think Ronnie will win POV, so hopefully he'll be walking out the door on Thursday, which I will not see cause I'll be in choir rehearsal....but that's all good...

Something feels different about this month, I see, i guess, stuff going differently. It's the 8th month, time for new stuff or something like that.

I can't really believe I have like a month left before going back to the E (it's so cold). Well, actually I can, it just doesn't seem like it's been 6 weeks. It'll be nice to be back, but for now I'm going to enjoy my summer, whatever that means.

So what did I do? I googled it.

Movie Rambling...............................

Watermelon Man

okay this movie was really good. I don't remember what day I watched it, but it's a very good movie about racism. Basically, a white bigot wakes up one day to find that he's a black man, takes place in the 1960s, movie came out in 1970. Just so good.

The main character, I guess the "watermelon man", played by Godfrey Cambridge,

(never heard of him before this movie...probably cuz he died in 1976)

did such a good job. This movie had the racism but also a bit of comedy surprisingly (and also a random sex scene that was mucho hilarious...they were like rumbling around in the sheets...literally)

I say random, because the guy (Godfrey) was like talking with his wife (in an argument of course) but then he's randomly having sex with this lady, which I thought was his wife at first, but then it wasn't.....oops.....

another funny thing about it, Godfrey was in whiteface for the first part of the movie (you can see it in the first pic), and when the character turned black, all I could see was him as a white person, because weirdly Godfrey doesn't have distinguishably "black voice" (<--whatever that means)

I just loved this movie, and I am tempted to buy it. Also according to Wikipedia the Director of this film, Melvin Van Peebles,

(wait!, i think I've seen this dude before...okay)

was black, and I believe the first black person to direct a film, may be wrong on that...not sure....

As a result of this movie, I wanted to know what I would look like as a white man, so I googled it.

BB Updation

Pretty good episode...okay I wanted to do a thing about how I feel about each person & thier stance in the competition, but that's too long...so here's a shortened version of that:

• Ronnie: Officially do not like him. Please send him home next week, he's just so happy he's still here, like he did it....please.....I don't like his attitude, plus he like backstabbed everyone in the house...so he should go...
• Lydia: This (I want to say the b-word) girl is WEIRD. She watches Jessie's while he's sleep. Then she wore this like mustache thingy, I didn't get it. I think the BB house is making her crazy, like coo coo(idk).
• Casey: Had to wear a banana suit this week cuz of the POV competition, pretty funny. He also went home today. Do NOT like that! But he cracked me up at the live eviction. He called out Ronnie & Jessie, too funny! He said Jessie has the IQ of "ironically, a banana". Just shows you teacher get no respect!
  
• Jeff: I'm now putting my money on him to win. He's a person I would like to see win, he would be like the underdog, come back and beat Jessie, Natalie and Ronnie.
  

Also in the episode, the cliques were dissolved, which is going to be really interesting, people really have no ties together, you know they can't really depend on other people. But they also brought in another thing of power: Coup D'etat (think I spelled that right), anywayz in the next 2 week on the day of eviction, they can change the nominees (1 or both), but they have to like keep it a secret till they use it. Also America gets to vote for who gets it. I'm voting for Jeff.

Don't know who won HOH cuz it one of those long endurance ones, but I'm gonna cheat and look it up now. And the winner is: No ONE! Russell & Jeff are battling it out (GO JEFF!)
I'll update about who wins later....

*Update: Russell won! Jeff & him came on an agreement for Jeff & Jordan to be safe. I don't know if Russell will keep it, but he might since, the cliques are finished. This is even a better time to vote for Jeff for the Coup d'etat....*

I am officially a fan of this show now. It's so crazy! NeNe is a mess, Sheree is a mess. They all a mess! It's such hilarious-ness. Today, the new season premiered. And thanks to Comcast Digital Cable, we have Bravo so I can watch it!....ha...

VBS Updation

Today was pretty much the last day of VBS, the last day of teaching. Tommorrow, Friday, every class does a presentation, and that's about it. It was pretty good today. I was actually getting really used to it. I can say I really enjoyed myself this week. I was expecting it to be very hard, and just tiring and down right boring. But you know it was good. I just kinda wish we could've got more people to come. But it is what it is. God got it all in control.

Next week, I'm just gonna be so bored, well probably not. I can say it'll probably be uneventful, but you know you never know. If it is you'll know and if it's not you'll know so don't worry about that...

1.Nigaz: Racist??
According to therawfeed.com, there is a Russian and Nigerian joint venture
called 'Nigaz' (hahahaha funny). Racist?! maybe. Probably not.... the company is called
Gazprom. Combined with Nigeria, and abbrev-ed, you could get Ni(geria) gaz (prom). and according to one of the commenters on the post Gaz in russian means gas....idk. I just thought this was funny, caught me by suprise or somethin'....hahahaha


2. Fish stole an old woman's dentures?

3. I could never be a weatherman.
Cuz my predictions about the Wimbeldon women's final was wrong. The Williams battled it down and what not. And I thought Venus would win but Serena won.

Didn't get a chance to watch it, cuz it came on like super early on saturday......it was over bout the time i woke up and turned on the tv (like seriously...serena was holding the medal thing and then it went on commerical...)....I guess you should never underestimate anyone....I'm glad she won though..I'm just wonderin when someone else is gonna come along and beat them...or are they gonna have to quit to stop winning? who knows....

4. Blog Design
Has been the same since I started this blog.....thinking about changing it up. hopefully it'll be EPIC or something.....coming up in a couple day i guess or whenever I get around to it..

(whew! <--- high pitched voice again) and now I am... but anyway I really enjoyed the concert... it was pretty awesome...LUDA was amazing... it was definitely worth the 15 bucks(who says bucks anymore?) but anywayz we were in Patten Gym and it was hot and stuffy...people were pushing and total chaos ensued (omg!).... really glad no one got injured or anything... but I was sweating like a mad dog(yes, a rabid dog...) it was kool........enjoyed myself... i considered it a once in a lifetime experience cuz probably never see Luda again for $15...or every again for that matter... but who kno's?! Here's proof that I was there for all you non-believers (how dare you not trust me? I would never lie on this blog....this is like my number 1 place of rambling truth...see right now i'm rambling and not showing you the pictures...hahaha) :
