Time Keeps on Slippin Into the Future

well, DUH stupid!
everyone knows that.
Here's the video, the song's actually called Fly Like An Eagle

(this is the Seal (Heidi Klum's husband) version that I remember from Space Jam for some reason)

but seriously Time Keeps on Slipping into the Future, seeing as how it's already November 1st! CRAZINESS!!!!
I feel like it was just September (well it was...kinda). this quarter gonna be over soon AND I'm gonna be 21 really soon 35 days (COMMENCE COUNTDOWN!)............

yeha dude I'm gonna be so freaking old, but that alright, it's life.

sooo the 'CATS lost to Penn State :-(. I mean everyone kinda expected it, but I was praying for an upset. We were getting there in the first half, then Kafka randomly left the game (apparently from a hamstring injury thingy) and he didnt return to the game, leaving Persa, the second-string quarterback, to try to keep the momentum going. FAIL. but that's alright. We still got another chance for an uspet against Iowa next week, who is currently 9-0, and us beating them would be major awesomeness.

not much else is going on. I'm trying to coordinate/do this NCE publicity, it's like all I've been really thinking about. and I have a midterm on tuesday, that I'm not studying for right now........
but everything's gonna be alright.......

sometimes ya gotta just keep telling yourself that , even if it won't, you gotta believe that, or your gonna be stressed about crazy stuff. there's no need to worry, like seriously things work out. not always like ya think, but they will. yeha i kno right i'm SO FREAKING deep..........

i'm gonna get back to my procrastination
that's it

Who actually needs a title? just read...

BB Updation

so ol girl, umm Laura , from the Popular clique went home. Ironically I thought she would be the most likely to win (see how wrong I was), but this was before the first episode. cuuz there was vids of all the cast online, and I watched them. She just seemed the most determined, and was like she came to win soo I thought she would. But she went home mainly becasue she ran her mouth too much, she was talking smack about the HOH, Ronnie, not such a good thing. So she went home, NOT Russell. I think that may come to bite back Ronnie in the butt, actually I think he might be going home next week but who knows, crazy big brother.

Yeha, he might not go home, because Jessie is HOH (again, ughhhh)..and they're supposed to be in a alliance, but who knows well see. Most def on Tuesday.

VBS Updation

Last day was on Friday, it was an okay program, not as many children came back that was there doing the week. That seems to happen every year, but what can you do?. ummmm it was good though. I'm definitely glad it's over, cuz it was kinda stressful, but not THAT stressful. It was also TIRING. but now I don't have nothing (ooo double negative) to do per say...but I'll figure that out. I'm thinking about joining the choir thing for a musical at my church, but I don't know if I want to...we'll see....but for VBS that's it....

Eagle Eye
http://moviesdown.files.wordpress.com/2008/12/eagle-eye.jpg

Saw this movie today, one word: CRAZINESS!!. Omg! This movie was ridiculous in the beginning, got kinda boring, predictable towards the end. I won't reveal to much of it. but Shia LaBaeof and this other lady (Michelle Monaghan...???) are seen as terrortists, and are basically running for their lives. Basically it's a set up. But by who? Pretty good movie, got and kept my attention.

Black In America: Part 2.

Watched the first part of this. and I guess it was better than the last one, can't remember what "Part 1" was like. But you know there was def a theme this time: Tommorrow Leaders. Basically showed people who are preparing and those becoming those Leaders. There was a small shout-out ,if you will, to NU. One of the people from the show who was of main focus, is (went?) to Kellogg, so that was really kool to see. I think it also gave a more diverse specturm of what it means to be black in America than what I remember from the first one. pretty kool, I guess.

They're supposed to be doing a Latino in America also....interesting.....my question is should they do a White in America? Or do we all already know that story!

NU Football Season

Just wanted to say I am so excited for the upcoming football season at NU! (for the 70th time). triggered by a football game. the Big Ten Network showed the game '08 against Illinois (our rivarly, and interestingly the nearest Big Ten School to my house). We won this game. and It just got me so excited to watch the game and see our football team winning (all that purple), and also to faintly hear the band in the background....it's just way to amazing. I saw a clip of the band once, like 2 second clip of the band, and I went crazy!

Here's highlights of the game, awesome!

Just mucho excited! AHHHH!

today,
I helped with VBS (vacation bible school) at my church (well actually my mom is the director of VBS this year so I had no choice) It was kool I guess. I mean I actually got to see the neighborhood my church was in, since I don't really live there.

I'll be assisting teaching a class of i think 7-9 yr olds. It should be kool. Kids are always something else. VBS starts on 20th lasting through the 24th. Five days. Should be interesting. yeha...

===========================================================

so I posted my "project" of the summer on the 'tube today. It's just me doing crazy stuff with my webcam. Also there's excerpts of a convo with Dan Shin (thought some parts of it were funny, and plus it changes up the dynamics of the video). anywayz watch it. it's kool, i think.

exploring the files on my home comp. (it's like the only one i use cuz I can't really get (steal) wireless with my laptop like anywhere. SUCKS!) and I found this old video I made in like the 10th grade (idk) its only like 50 seconds...but it's kool i think. i posted it on myspace way back ago. and I was trying to get it on the 'tube earlier, but I could, i'll figure it out. but anywayz check this one out too....

All about me

* these videos may make me seem really vain, but that's not the case. I just get uber bored...and these videos happen. but really I don't really care if I come off as vain. cuz I'm not. but whatev...hahaaha*

I am a member of

THE FINEST BAND IN THE LAND!!
let it be known....my recent bowl trip to San Antonio
taught me alot about the Marching Band......
now during this time in San Antonio, our band had 3 practices, while missouri's only had one
and of course missouri band's had way more trumpets than we did,
but at the game on monday, we definitely did a better job...we were definitely motivated....
i mean their halftime show...consisted of half the time standing still...and then when they did move it really wasn't that great.....

i dont think having a lot members is an excuse for not have interesting drills...i mean illinois has a large band and their drills our pretty kool...and then what about the drum corps....their a good amount of them......

after seeing mizzou's halftime performance i was like really? that's ur halftime show..BORING!
but when the Wildcat Marching Band stepped on to that field...we entertained...and worked our butts off....we were the Shittt....plain and simple......

and marching that halftime i realized why we had 3 rehearsals, and why we practice so much....so that we knew our stuff...we weren't stumbling over ourselves, our marching and playing was on point...and that's why were the finest band in the land......although other bands may be bigger, and louder, and play popular songs.....we work hard....and we know we're the BEST BAND IN THE LAND!!

I LOVE NUMB....
aight....that was serious.....
sooo
Random video of NUMB..... okay so not really...

hahahha

PEACE...

ALAMO BOWL ramblings...

if you don't know the 'cats lost, but that's alright, it was ultimately a good game and the 'cats
definitely put up a good fight

i definitely had fun over my trip...so many memories, laughs, smiles created in just 3 days, mucho fun....san antonio was awesome!!
(i even got pictures of the ALAMO!! hahaha)

here's an update about stuff....

1. plane rides, was pretty scary the first time, well the take-off and the landing...on the way back it was pretty smooth....very good experience for the first time

2. it was very warm, very very warm...good 75 degrees which was awesome....except when we had practice, cuz i was sweating for realzy....but ultimately that produce a very good performance by our marching band (more about that in another post)

3. I didn't get to meet up with my high school friend.....sad :(....yeha it's alright tho...

okay that's it

San Antonio, Texas for the Alamo bowl as we face Mizzou.

2. I'm taking a plane for the first time in my life...excited about that...
3. I might reunite with an high school friend who goes to Mizzou...her birthday so happens to be the day after mine.......hahahhah should be fun.

Whether the 'Cats win or not it'll be kool, I'm sure it'll be a great experience overall.......
