Thanksgiving

Was pretty awesome. Started with my nucluer familial unit eating in a (un)traditional way:
in the living room, watching a movie @ like 10,11 in the morning.
Pretty awesome.

Then I chilled in the bed (my still fairly new soft FULL sized bed, so much betta than SMQ) watching TV.

Then we headed over to my Grandma's, where like all my family was at,
it was like the scene in Antwone Fisher, movie starring Denzel Washington and Derek Luke, where he's like
"home" and there's all these black people smiling, that exactly what it was like. And I felt really happy inside, cuz that's my family.

Anywayz there was like tons of food (and I'm probably forgetting something) : chicken, turkey, dressing, ham, collard greens, macroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, cabbage, conbread, ribs, potato salad, deviled eggs, chit'lins (ew), and like tons of desserts.

I laughed tons, and everyone just acted a straight fool, and I realized that's where I totally get my humor from, cuz like my whole family acts exactly the way I act, well to a certain extent because I am my own person.

I also just notice myself being alot more observative ( is that a word? ) than usual. It was like my teacher-ness kicking in. Or maybe it was just cuz I hadn't seen my family in a long time.

Anywayz it's been a really good break, I wish I could stay until here January or whatnot. That would be an awesome winter break!...hahaha.
But unfortnately I go to Northwestern University (which  I love SO much.. I mean I'm paying 50 G's to go there....sooo yeha)

yeha that's it.

Big brother first episode

so BB is still my current obsession. But I really didn't enjoy the first episode, I think it's because it just started out. I was just expected something more. I guess, but anywayz one of the people I hated from last season is back on the show: Jessie.

He's this body-builder, conceited person...i hate people like that....he just thinks he's the shit when he ain't shit. like really, and this person is back on the show.....at least he'll bring good drama.... i guess.
But ummm oh the new thing this season is everyone is split into high school cliques: Brains, Athletes, Popular, and Offbeats. What clique do I belong in Brains, Popular, or Offbeat (most def not Athletic)?? idk. I think I'm most def closer to Brains. yeha. oh and if someone in the clique gets HOH (head of household) then everyone in the clique is safe. So that def changes the game.

***updation: Tonight's episode was alot better. Got to know some people a little more. And a little drama ensued. Not much, but you know I'm excited. So yeha we'll see what happens. Two People have been nominated...Tuesday's show is going be about Power of Veto competition. sooo yeha...

Life, has been the same for quite a while. Doesn't look like I'm getting a job. But I think that's okay. I've been kinda doing the same thing e'erday but not really. I don't know. There's not much going's on. But if there was...this "Life update" would be more updational....

Dance your ass off.

So there's this new dance show on the Oxygen network called dance your ass off. Basically it's helping fat (overweight?, obese?) people get into shape, with dancing, AND working out, and changing their eating habits and such.

It sound likes a really good idea. I find it mildly entertaining. It'll be good to see some changes eventually. OH, what I really wanted to say is that they've been having them wear some bogus out-fits, gee and they be thinking they be sexy...but it just be nasty. I mean till you lose some weight I think you should cover that up (but that's just me...)..

The Color Purple- the Musical

Is coming to Chicago from Sept 2 -13. Totally want to go, WAIT I will go (if I say I'm going to do something then I more likely going to do it). Fantasia going to be in it. And I hated myself for not going to see it when it was here before, so it'll be pretty awesome to see. Not realy sure why I updated about this. I think I just wanted to remind myself...whatev....I'm going.

Tidbits about my life....

Tuesday the 7th was my mom's B-day
(she's the BIG arobaini, I won't put all her business out like that)...but anywayz...
I went with my mom to Bingo on Tuesday.
It was pretty fun, 'cept there was a whole bunch of ol' (can I say white? yes I can it. it's my blog) white people there. It's like that all time though (well, I have only been there once before) but yeah....

(funny it's an old white man! hahaha)

It was pretty kool, it's basically like gambling, no it is gambling....but it's not that expensive I guess...I did win one game and I won $60!!! ( I would've had $120 but this lady bingo-ed with me...uhhh)

AND I was about to win $500 on the jackpot round, which was a coverall, had to cover you whole board to win Bingo. I had one number left, 59, (damn 59!) and the announcer guy (who was also old, white, and like basically deaf) said 50 (and I was like 9, right?) NO! just 50...and somebody else BINGO-ed.........bull right?! uhhhh....but anywayz it was funn...

So for like the past 3 months and 1/2 I have been debating whether to buy the Sims 3.

You know I really wanted to buy it, but then it cost $50, and to me that alot for a GAME, especially one I never played before....

but anywayz on Monday I was totally going buy it, (I was seriously like I'm going to buy tomorrow). Go to the website....I'm like I should check to make sure it fits the requirements cuz I saw somebody's facebook status talking about how they bought it, but then it didn't work on their computer....so I looked...and my laptop processor is like too slow. I think I need a 2.4 and my computer's is only a 1.8 (what these numbers stand for I can't remember neither do I really care).


...but I was really upset I couldn't buy it.....so looks like I'll never play it....(well Never say never i guess..i'll seee)

3. This weather....

so its officially summer...and its hot as hell! (as the expression goes) but ummmm yeha we got that central air in my house so im just chillin in that...i can't stand no hotness. at all..

anything above 90 degrees is way to hot...i would be good around 70, 75, that my kinda weather...but whatev...you won't catch me outside very much...(ain't that the truth).

Although something drastic changed in my home...my mom gave my bed away....(to my cousin) but she got me another one...but the problem is i didn't get to say goodbye to the other one...or give it a proper burial or anything...its so sad...but i guess it'll be nice to have a new bed...maybe...so home should be fun hopefully..

AND school is almost out...pretty excited! and the weather is starting to get nice....

just gotta find what im doing for the summer idk.....uhhhh
